The event runs from 9am to 9pm to accommodate a variety of schedules.
The Village Workshop is proud to present a tote bag sewing workshop event to benefit Vista Maria. An organization that delivers innovative care, support, treatment and education to vulnerable youth so that they heal, believe in their worth, and build the skills needed to succeed. Vista Maria ensures that vulnerable youth and families are supported, prepared and equipped to achieve lifelong success. If you can bring your own sewing machine, thread, pins, and/or scissors that would be very helpful. Fabric donations are greatly appreciated. Drop off is located at The Village Workshop. Participants are welcome to drop in and drop out as needed. Learn More About Vista Maria.
Many of the young ladies who come to Vista Maria are scared and have few or no possessions.
To help comfort them, Vista Maria provides welcome bags to each of their new residents.
You, too, can help welcome the girls through The Village Workshop by creating and donating items for the welcome bags.
